What Nilkick does (and what it doesn't)
Nilkick takes a product that is built but barely seen and helps you do the launch work, one venue at a time. Here is the whole loop, and the line it will not cross.
Last updated June 22, 2026Nilkick is built for the gap between “I shipped it” and “people are actually using it.” You paste a product URL, Nilkick reads your site and the public web around it, and it tells you two things: how launched you are right now, and what to do next.
That is the whole idea. Shipping a product got easy. Getting it seen did not. Nilkick is the nudge off zero.
01 · The loopThe loop, in three moves
- Scan. Paste your URL and get a launch-readiness score plus a list of specific gaps. This part is free and needs no account.
- Plan. When you decide to launch, Nilkick studies your product and builds a ranked list of venues worth posting to, with a draft written for each one.
- Ship. You work down the list, review each draft, edit anything you want, and post it yourself. Nilkick tracks what is done and what is left.
02 · What you getWhat you actually get
Starting a launch gives you a plan, not a pile of generic advice:
- A ranked venue list, with communities first and directories second.
- A post drafted for each venue, written in that venue’s voice.
- Karma and timing checks, so you do not post somewhere you will get removed.
- A checklist that tracks every move to done.
The plan is sharp on purpose. Nilkick would rather hand you ten venues that fit than pad the list to fifty that do not.
03 · The lineThe one thing it will not do
Nilkick never posts for you. Every submission is a button you press yourself, on your own account, after you have read the draft.
That is a deliberate choice, not a missing feature. Automated posting is how accounts get banned and how communities get spammed. Keeping a human finger on the final button keeps your accounts safe and keeps your launch welcome. There is a whole article on why.
You can run the readiness report as many times as you like without an account or a credit. You only spend anything when you choose to turn a report into a real launch.
