Running your free launch-readiness report

The report is the front door to Nilkick: paste a URL, get a score and a map. No account, no email, no card. Here is how to run it and what comes back.

The launch-readiness report is the front door to Nilkick, and it is free for anyone to run. You give it a URL, it reads your site and the public web, and about thirty seconds later you have a score and a map of what to do next.

01 · Running itHow to run it

Go to the free report page, type your product URL into the box, and press Run the report. The https:// is optional, and you do not need to sign in or enter anything else.

Behind the scenes Nilkick does three things in sequence:

  1. Reads your site, the way a first-time visitor or a crawler would.
  2. Checks the public web for your product: whether it is indexed, whether it owns its own name in search, and whether anyone else mentions it.
  3. Builds your map, inferring what your product is and who it is for, then suggesting where to launch.

02 · The resultWhat you get back

The report lands on a shareable page at its own URL. On it you will find:

  • Your launch-readiness score out of 100, with the two bars underneath it.
  • A list of specific gaps, each one a concrete thing you can go fix.
  • A personalized launch map of venues worth posting to.

The page has its own link, so you can bookmark it, share it, or come back to it later.

03 · Re-runsRunning it again

The first run on a domain is instant. Re-runs have a short cooldown, because each one fires live searches that cost money to perform. The usual rhythm is to fix a batch of on-page gaps, wait a little, then re-run to watch the readiness side climb.

Nothing to install

Nilkick reads only what is already public. There is no script to add, no plugin, and no verification step. If your product has a live URL, it can be scored.

Common questions

No. The report is completely ungated. You do not sign in, you do not hand over an email, and there is no card. You only make an account later if you decide to run a paid launch.
