What data Nilkick reads about your site

Nilkick only ever reads what is already public, the same things any visitor or search engine can see. Here is precisely what it looks at, and the little it keeps about you.

Last updated June 22, 2026

Nilkick works entirely from public information. It reads the things any visitor, search engine, or curious person could already see, and nothing that is hidden behind a login. There is no tracker and nothing to install.

01 · What it looks atWhat it reads

To build your score and your launch map, Nilkick looks at:

  • Your live site, the way a first-time visitor or a crawler would: your pages, headings, metadata, and link previews.
  • Public search results for your product: whether it is indexed and whether it owns its own name in search.
  • Public discussions and mentions, such as open threads where your product could be relevant.

All of this is information that is already out in the open. Nilkick simply gathers and reads it in one place.

02 · What it leaves aloneWhat it does not touch

Nilkick does not install anything on your site, does not add a script or pixel, and does not change your pages. It cannot see anything behind a login, a paywall, or a noindex. If a page is private, it stays private.

03 · Your accountWhat it keeps about you

If you create an account and run launches, Nilkick stores the minimum it needs to work: your email address (which is also how you sign in), your launches and their plans, and your credit balance and purchase history. Payments are handled by Stripe, so Nilkick never sees or stores your card details.

Your privacy rights

Nilkick is run from New South Wales, Australia, and handles personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you want to know what is held about you, or you want it removed, contact support and we will help. See also Deleting your account.

Common questions

No. There is nothing to install, no script, no pixel, and no plugin. Nilkick reads your site from the outside, exactly as a first-time visitor or a search crawler would. Your site does not change in any way.
