A warm-up is a finite adaptive 28-day plan that builds history on your Reddit account before you launch. It is priced like a launch and kept just as simple: a flat one-time price for one warm-up, with nothing recurring.

01 · The priceWhat it costs

One warm-up is $15, one-time. That covers the whole 28-day plan: community mapping, account setup guidance, local Today plans, fresh value-only comment drafts, phase-boundary standing checks, removal-aware pacing, and the optional final question. There are no tiers, per-comment charges, or recurring fees.

Credits never expire, so buying one you do not start immediately is fine. It waits until you need it.

02 · Two balancesIts own credit, separate from launches

Warm-ups and launches use separate credits. This keeps the two products clear: a launch credit starts a launch, a warm-up credit starts a warm-up, and buying one never quietly spends the other. Your balance shows both at a glance, so you always know what you have of each.

03 · CheckoutHow to buy one

You can buy a warm-up from the Billing page, from the Warm-ups section, or when you go to start a warm-up without a credit. It is also offered right where it is most useful: if an account check comes back cold or still developing, you will see the warm-up offered there. Either way, checkout runs through Stripe:

  1. You click to buy a warm-up.
  2. Stripe’s secure checkout opens for the payment.
  3. On success, the warm-up credit lands in your account and you are returned to Nilkick, ready to set one up.

Nilkick never handles your card directly. Stripe takes care of the payment and simply confirms it succeeded.

Buying does not start the warm-up

Buying a warm-up credit and starting a warm-up are two separate steps. A purchased credit sits in your balance until you set up a warm-up, which is where you pick your topics or link a launch. See the Reddit warm-up for what happens once it starts.
